Shared language for the AX cognitive architecture.
- Observation
- A structured statement collected from a source, with provenance, evidence and confidence.
- Conflict
- An explicit representation of incompatible or uncertain claims.
- Decision
- A proposed action with reason, priority, evidence and validation requirements.
- Evidence
- Material or reference supporting an observation, claim or decision.
- Knowledge
- Information that has been structured, connected and validated for reuse.
- Memory
- The governed retention and retrieval of context, history and experience.
- Fact
- A claim accepted as valid within a defined context and validation state.
- Task
- A bounded objective, constraints and lifecycle routed through the platform.
- Recommendation
- A suggested course of action that does not itself constitute approval.
- Validation
- The act of confirming, correcting, rejecting or escalating an object.
- Agent
- A bounded capability with defined inputs, outputs, tools and quality measures.
- Scheduler
- The kernel component that prioritizes execution, retries, budgets and deadlines.
- Event Bus
- The routing layer through which typed objects move between capabilities.
- Knowledge Graph
- A structured network of entities, relationships, claims, evidence and provenance.
